Savannah medical massage and clinical massage experience:

Alicia has an extensive background within the clinical field, including a chiropractic office and pain management clinic, one of two opening massage therapists for SCMG Massage, opening massage therapist for the Savannah Spine Center, and her own practice she has built along the way since 2011. Alicia has spent the majority of her continuing education choices focused on research-based modalities to better serve her clients with rare connective tissue disorders, rare diseases with severe chronic pain, post-surgical scar tissue reduction, and post-surgical rehabilitation alongside the recommendations by clients’ physicians and physical therapists.

In previous years, Alicia has worked onsite with clients of Savannah area nursing homes, a local brain injury rehab center, as well as private clients’ homes that preferred onsite rather than studio visits.

Alicia has served on location for AppleTV crews, Hulu directors and staff, and a few players of the famous Savannah Bananas.

Alicia’s earlier years started within the private spa club and hotel spa industry.

Volunteer work in the Savannah community

is important to Alicia and she continues to work with different organizations to share her energy with others. She has provided therapeutic massage for the runners of the Savannah Rock and Roll Marathon since 2011 and donated a few years of chair massage to the Savannah Glow Run since 2015. Alicia has volunteered chair massage through the March of Dimes to the neonatal ICU nurses of Memorial Health University Medical Center and the Lewis Cancer Center patients and caregivers wellness day, as well as many other charity functions.

Alicia’s passion is centered around anatomy and physiology, and she loves including her education in her massage sessions. Alicia aims to make certain that every client understands how important their issues are to her by listening to their issues and concerns and customizing each session to their needs and goals for that session.
